TriPollar Stop Right Now, Thank You Very Much, I Need Somebody With A Non-Invasive Touch!

A quick review on the TriPollar Stop anti-aging machine

Another day, another dollar, another desperate attempt to reverse the signs of aging.

When you hit up your nearest clinic or skin care salon, the anti-aging treatments they seem to use usually include injections and lasers. Eek! If either of those leave you as squeamish as they do me, then it’s time to talk alternatives.

My first instinct is to always find a natural home remedy, but I realize that lines from years of laughter and wrinkles from worry-filled sleepless nights can be more than some DIY’s can handle.

With that being said, if one of my DIY’s isn’t gonna get the job done then I want something that is non-invasive, moderately priced, simple to use and most importantly, effective.

Whenever I get on one of my crazy skin care quests, I always seem to stumble upon new and nifty products like MicrodermMD, LightStim, LifeCell and in this case, TriPollar Stop.

The 411 on TriPollar Stop

TriPollar Stop is a little renewal device that uses frequency technology to heat up the skin from the inside. By heating up the skin from the inside you are promoting dermal activity which will increase collagen production and thicken your dermis.

A thicker dermis means tighter looking skin and the reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Included in the kit are the following items:

  • STOP Renewal Device which is available in multiple colors. For those of you who like a product with options, you can get the device in Classic Red, Elegant Black and Cool White.
  • Power Supply Lead with Electrical Supply Adapter. It comes with both a 2 pin European plug and a 3 pin plug
  • Electrical Outlet Adapter
  • 50mL Preparation Gel
  • 50mL After Treatment Cream
  • User Manual and Instructional Movie
  • Reference Guide
  • 2 Year Warranty Policy

That’s a lot of stuff for one product!

With all that stuff, you’re probably wondering how it works.

How Does TriPollar Stop Work?

First you want to prep your skin with the Preparation Gel. After plugging in the device, turn it on. It will always start on the low setting and you have the ability to change it to medium or high as desired.

Ensure that each of the four electrodes on your device are touching your skin as you glide it over your face slowly. You should feel a warming sensation and this is perfectly normal.

Maintain treatment of one area until the device light turns orange which signals it’s time to move on. The entire process should take about 20 minutes or so and is safe to use 2-3 times a week for approximately 6-8 weeks.

How It Measures Up

At the beginning of this article I said I wanted 4 things from this product:

– Easy to Use

– Non-Invasive

– Moderately Priced

– Effective

So how does TriPollar Stop measure up? Well, let’s see.

As far as simplicity goes, the general use of the product is easy enough. What’s bothersome is how frequently the power cord interferes with the process.

Many customers have found that the cord falls out of the device and/or the light that indicates when it’s time to move to a new treatment area does not always illuminate. Personally, I think a noise would be more helpful than a light anyhow.

The TriPollar Stop device is definitely non-invasive, unlike injections or surgery. Though I wouldn’t consider heating of my skin to be invasive per se, if you don’t like warming sensations then you will probably not like this product.

For the beauty on a budget this product can be out of your desired price range. You can find the treatment kit for anywhere between $350-450 dollars. Yikes!

If you factor in the cost of salon or clinic procedures over an extended period of time then you can justify the cost of the original kit; however replacement creams and gel are pricey.

To use this product effectively you need quite a bit of preparation gel and the cost of refills can really add up. Like I said before though, in comparison to salon treatments, this is more than affordable.

Concerning effectiveness, most customer reviews seem pretty positive. Most people felt their skin become softer and smoother, however those with seriously sagging skin or deep wrinkles did not see a huge visible difference.

I always find that managing expectations for at-home devices to be important. If you have damaged, deep wrinkled skin there probably aren’t many at-home products that will make a great difference.

I believe in prevention so by using TriPollar Stop BEFORE skin is damaged and worn may be more effective in the long run.But that’s just me.

Now, I want to hear what you think! Have you tried out this product or one similar and if so, what was your experience like? Slide down to the comment section below to let me know what you think.

  • I bought this device in February and used it exactly as it stated. I am 51 and my skin is relatively good. After using it for the required time 6 to 8 weeks, I found my lower eye lids seemed hollowed and where I had no droopiness beside my mouth, I now do. I have stopped using it since May in the hopes that my skin’s fullness would return, so far still the same. I find that my face looks worse than before I started using this device.
Your thoughts on this or any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lise

  • Oh no – that’s definitely no good. Sorry to hear you had such bad results with it. If you want to give your skin back its fullness, I would try something like LifeCell instead, or our homemade anti-aging cream. Both will nourish and lock in moisture, as well as give you a more youthful appearance.
