Today we’re going to talk about a product that has been out for a while and which due to the large amount of science they use to back up their claims, is starting to build some traction in the anti wrinkle market.
We’re talking about Hydroxatone and it’s our goal to fill in some of the gaps left out on the official site, plus give you gals the best advice on price comparisons, guarantees and of course most importantly a thorough overall Hydroxatone review.
Okay as you probably already know, the purpose of this cream is to reduce and prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Now one of the differences between this anti wrinkle cream and many of the others that specialize in wrinkle treatment like Idrotherapy, is that they claim it covers EVERY aspect of skincare.
Most products tend to stick to focusing on just one thing, for example; enhancing the production of new skin cells to help create firmer skin in the process, but Hydroxatone was designed to do EVERYTHING including:
- Exfoliate and help remove dead skin cells.
- Act as a deep conditioner to keep your skin hydrated.
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots.
- And of course to enhance the production of new skin cells.
They’ve basically taken on the challenge of incorporating in every aspect of skincare into one individual cream.
A bold attempt we must admit, but did they get it right?
To answer that question, we need to take a closer look at the ingredients that make up this wrinkle remedy.
There are in fact a total of 45 ingredients used in Hydroxatone, the majority are just fillers which are found in most skincare related cosmetics.
What we’re interested in are the 3 major ones that supposedly give Hydroxatone the edge over it’s competitors.
- Matrixyl 3000
- Hyaluronic Acid
Starting with Matrixyl…
When it comes to anti wrinkle technology, there are basically two types to consider – those which work on strengthening the muscles in your face, thereby lifting your skin to prevent the appearance of wrinkles(short term results) and the second which helps to increase collagen production to firm and strengthen skin(long term, sustainable results).
Matrixyl is apart of the second group of anti wrinkle technology.
The most recent upgrade developed for this compound is known as Matrixyl 3000 which is found in Hydroxatone.
The way it works is by literally mimicking the properties of broken down collagen, which intern tricks the body into creating more of this compound which is then used to develop more skin cells.
The effects are usually seen the following day and collagen production continues to increase over time with consistent use. In a nutshell this ingredient is designed for long term sustainable production of skin cells.
Argireline on the other hand fits in the first category of muscle stimulants. Much like the effects seen from using Botox, Argireline works by causing the muscles in your face to contract almost immediately, helping to reduce the effects of fine lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid also called Hyaluronan and is a major component for our skin. More specifically it has amazing tissue repairing properties.
The official Hydroxatone site only mentions the other property of Hyaluronan, which is it’s ability to retain water and help hydrate skin, however we believe the inclusion of this ingredient can also work to restore sun damaged skin.
Right now, no other product on the market is combining all 3 of these components into their formula which makes this cream unique.
Hydroxatone Reviews And Clinical Studies
Let’s find out how effective Hydroxatone cream actually is by checking out some of the customer reviews out there and digging deep into the clinical studies that have been performed so far.
To be honest with you, it wasn’t easy to track down information on the clinical studies conducted to determine the effects of this wrinkle cream. We did however confirm that it was done independently with the following taking place:
- 8 week study
- Participants ranged in ages from 35-64
- Daily use required for all participants
- 90% of participants saw noticeable effects on fine lines and wrinkles
Because it’s not a lot of information to go off, we decided it was best to do our own research to see if we could find some people who had tried it out and seen results. After all, asking your friends is usually the best way to determine whether or not a product is worth buying.
After several EXTREMELY boring hours of reading a bunch of totally BS reviews, we managed to hunt down some real gals chatting about their experiences with this wrinkle cream.
Because we didn’t want to bore you to death, we decided to put only two of them up that we were certain were from real people and not spammers or customers from the Hydroxatone site.
The first was a comment we found on a large, independent review blog where a bunch of people were talking about the fact that the company who owns the product will try and get you to buy their under eye cream first – Hydrolyze.
Like every company out there, they just want to sell you more, so if you don’t need an under eye treatment, just say no. Also the 30 day trial was discussed with some people thinking they wouldn’t have to pay anything for the first 30 days.
This isn’t the case.
You will have to pay the normal amount for Hydroxatone, BUT if before the 30 days are up, you decide you aren’t happy for some reason, give them a call on 1-888-621-4043 and tell them you want your money back.
Get angry with them if you have to!
Let’s check out the review -
“When you call Hydroxatone or Hydrolyze, the people will explain everything to you. It is a great deal to try this for 30 days and then make a decision. I don’t know of any stores out there that will let you walk out of the store with a $140.00 product to try and only when it works, do you (in good faith) come back and pay for it.
I loved both of these products and my forehead and eye wrinkles were smoothing out by the 2nd week. My boyfriend even complimented my eyes and he didn’t even know I was using any creams! That was a shocker! The hydrolyze was really lite for my eyes and not only took care of the dark circles around my eyes but also a little broken blood vessel on the bridge of my nose.
I can’t use too many products on the market because I have excema and I WILL break out if I’m not careful. When I read the ingredients I saw mostly vitamins, and extracts and MY SKIN LOVED IT!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend trying this product for a month and if you don’t love it, just call them…. they are sweet!”
Tracy, Sybervision Reviews
The next one comes from inside Amazon. The reason why we decided to show you guys is because of the fact that this person realized buying from Amazon wasn’t the best option in terms of price.
It’s also fairly straightforward and the person writing it clearly is telling the truth about her experiences. Interestingly enough, her review backs up our claim that this product won’t work overnight but instead will take some time.
Check it out:
“I ordered this originally after seeing an advert on T.V. It is not as ‘amazing’/revolutionary / blah blah blah as the adverts make out, but I have seen a difference in the wrinkles, especially around my eyes.
Not sure if I would pay the prices you get have to for a jar on here, as you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
It does work, just don’t expect to wake up with the face of someone 20 years younger than you, like the cringey advert makes out.”
Here’s a video review we found on Youtube that’s also worth watching if you have the time:
Let’s take a look at some price comparisons and the risk free trial…
Hydroxatone Price Comparisons and The Free Trial (this is important!)
Let’s do a quick price comparison between the top third party merchant and the direct Hydroxatone supplier. Buying from Amazon will cost you on average $10 more then when buying direct.
You also won’t have access to the official guarantee or more importantly the 30 day, risk free trial…
That brings us to our next point, the free trial.
What we’re finding is a lot of ladies are clearly misinformed about what the free trial really means. In order to get the free trial, you will first need to enter in your credit card details.
Then, once the free trial is up after 30 days, you’ll be charged $69.95 immediately, then another $69.95 each and every month until you cancel.
A LOT of girls have been caught out leaving it to the last minute to cancel their subscription and return their supply of Hydroxatone, subsequently being charged $69.95 when they didn’t want anything to do with the product.
And let us tell you something else, these guys are ruthless when it comes to stopping you from returning your trial of Hydroxatone. Make sure that if you aren’t happy with the results, you return the product within the first week of using it.
As far as a anti aging goes, this cream does offer some okay results. It’s by far not the greatest product on the market, but at least it does have a fairly decent success rate.
A few girls have complained about it being a little “oily” and causing slight acne breakouts which is why it didn’t even make our list of the top 3 anti-aging treatments.
