So I have a confession to make.
Recently, whilst looking at my reflection in the mirror, I made a disturbing discovery. Right there above my brow line and an half inch below my hairline was…a wrinkle!
I know what you’re thinking because I was thinking it too; I’m just too damn young for a wrinkle. Alas, it’s there and damned if I’m not keen to do something about it. Being somewhat vain (and yes, I’m admitting to that!) there is no way in hell I’m letting that wrinkle fester and grow. So what is a girl to do? A DIY, of course!
Rosehip Wrinkle Remover
If you need to know how to get rid of wrinkles on forehead then you will need to hit up your local market and grab the following ingredients:
- 2 tsp of Jojoba Oil
- 1 tsp of Coconut Oil
- 3 tsp of Apricot Kernel Oil
- 3 tsp of Rosehip Oil
- 1.5 tsp of beeswax
- 10 tsp of Rose Water
- Double Boiler
In a double boiler, you will want to mix all of your ingredients except for the rose water.
If you don’t have a double boiler or aren’t sure what it is, an alternative is to put an inch or two of water in a large sauce pan and then place a smaller one inside. As the water boils, it will slowly heat the contents in the second pot, but not enough to burn.
Now that you have your contents in your makeshift double boiler, allow them to heat up for 6-8 minutes. Once the beeswax melts, you’ll know it’s time to move on to the next step.
Giving the contents a good stir, pour them into your blender. I find it’s best to let them cool down a bit first.
Start slowly adding your rose water into the blender. I like to do this in 3 small steps so that the cream doesn’t get too liquidy. Pulse the blender in between rose water additions and stop once you get your preferred consistency.
Just a heads up, this will make for one heck of a messy clean up, so if you’re digging the recipe be sure to double or triple it. This will help you avoid having to repeat the clean up as often.
Massage Your Wrinkles Away
It’s easy to buy a product – or make it – when you want to take care of wrinkles, but there’s another simple method and it won’t cost you a dime.
Did you know that you can massage away your wrinkles? Or at the very least, you can reduce their appearance.
Massaging wrinkles helps increase blood flow and circulation to trouble zones. Did I mention it’s also incredibly therapeutic?
To do a massage properly, be sure to cleanse your face before hand and wash your dirty little paws. Using small circular motions rub your wrinkles. You can do this with or without lotion, but if you have acne prone skin, be sure to choose a lotion without oil.
Repeat daily and you should start to see results in as few as 2 weeks.
So, don’t let your crinkles age you. Use my tips on how to get rid of wrinkles on forehead and remain fresh faced and stress free for as long as possible.
