Whip It With A Wet Towel

For an on the spot, must deflate, no time to waste approach, you can try this wet towel method. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book, but boy does it work.

First, you will need to wet a face cloth. Place it in a clean tupperware container, or plastic baggy. Toss that sucker in the freezer and let it freeze overnight.

When you wake up in the morning with dark circles, hit the freezer and put that frozen cloth to work. All you have to do is place it gently over your eyes for 3-5 minutes. Do this every morning for 2 weeks.

There’s an awesome simplicity to this method. The cool temperature helps initial swelling that can be causing the dark circles and it also restricts blood vessels from bursting.

Avoid The Oil

We see it time and time again; oil-free moisturizers, makeups and other products are all over the place. Considering there are so many pros to certain oils – like Coconut and Jojoba – why are we so keen to avoid the oil?

While it’s true that oil-based practices like the oil-cleansing method are great for you, if you are looking for how to get rid of under eye bags then you will want to ditch the oil-based cosmetics. The oil in the cosmetics will only draw more attention to your bags, causing them to look twice as deep and dark.

Drink Some Dandelion Tea

Not your most conventional choice of tea, however dandelion tea has awesome diuretic properties that help cleanse your system. This is good for your eyes because sometimes the reason we experience under eye bags is due to a buildup of toxins in the liver. This toxic sludge causes bloating, inflammation, acne, and in this case, panda eyes.

You can buy dandelion tea or make your own. To make your own grab your spade and go dig up  few dandelions from your front yard. You want to use the root, so you’ll have to dig deep. Once you’ve unearthed enough dandelion, remove the flower and clean the root. Steep in hot water and drink up. If you want, you can add some honey to make it a little more flavorful and refreshing.
