How To Fight Cellulite with Essential OilsThe battle against cellulite is constantly ongoing, and today is no different. Those dimpled derrieres, puckered thighs and cottage cheese tummies are about to be blasted into the stratosphere with the wealth of awesome I’m about to share with you.

Now while cellulite may be a result of genetics, poor eating or lifestyle choices, etc., there are ways you can ditch the derriere dimples and do it naturally. One of my favourite (and cheapest) involves the use of a few essential oils.

Say what?

Yes. Essential oils. And yes, they work.

In fact, I have 5 go-to essential oils that are not only natural, but will show you how to fight cellulite!

My 5 Fave Essential Oils

Of course there are more than 5 essential oils that can tackle cellulite, but in the name of time preservation I’m only going to share my top, most favourite 5.

Are you ready? Write this down!

Cypress

This essential oil comes from the Cypress tree. Cypress trees are often found in or among cemeteries and have been nicknamed the Tree of The Dead. Yea, that’s a bit morbid, but also prophetic since they will be helping kill your cellulite.

Cypress essential oil is killer – haha…pun intended – because it stimulates circulation. It’s astringent qualities helps maintain a healthy blood flow which is necessary for reducing the appearance of cellulite.

Geranium

Extracted from the stem of a geranium plant, this oil is full of dimple-ditching benefits. Geranium is rich with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It is also a potent astringent, diuretic, haemostatic and cytophylactic. Fun fact; it’s also a natural deodorant.

What matters most here is how to fight cellulite with its cytophylactic properties. Cytophylasis is responsible for regenerating new skin cells and recycling dead ones.

Another reason why geranium essential tops my list is for its diuretic abilities. Diuretics thin the blood, which makes it easier for your blood to pass through your veins. Increased blood flow reduces fatty cellulite deposit buildup.

Grapefruit

Not only a tasty treat, but an effective cellulite-fighting oil, grapefruit essential oil acts as a detoxifier.

This toning astringent stimulates your lymphatic system, in turn stimulating gallbladder and liver functioning. Increasing circulation, this whole process leads to a good flushing of toxins from  your system.

Juniper Berry

A key component of the panty-dropper Gin, juniper berry oil also flushes toxins to conveniently rid your newly bare ass of cellulite. Win!

Distilled from the juniper evergreen, this oil acts as a digestive aid to rid your body of toxins and excess fluid which may be causing your cellulite. It also tones and tightens your skin naturally for a firmer appearance.

Rosemary

This particular oil is great for infusing your skin with moisture and tightening it up. The more hydrated your skin, the less likely it is to form cellulite.

How to Fight Cellulite With These Oils

Now that you know what to use, here’s how to fight cellulite using 3 super simple ways:

  1. Massage – Use 3-4 drops of essential oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of almond oil and massage into your cellulite zones.
  2. Bathe – 5-10 drops in a tubful of water is all you need to stimulate your dimples away.
  3. Smell – Directly inhaling or diffusing essential oil jolts your body into detox-mode.

If you’re looking for even better way to say “so long” to cellulite, you could always use the Mack Daddy of cellulite treatments—Finulite— in conjunction with massaging, bathing or sniffing. Whatever it takes, right ladies?
