EyeCel: Is it the Best Eye Cream for Anti Aging?

Our review on the best eye cream for anti aging

Personally, I like the look of laugh lines around the eye. To me, they represent years of happiness and the sort of wisdom one could only hope to attain. The catch? I don’t want to see them till I’m at least in my mid-30’s.

Don’t crucify me for saying mid-30’s. I’m in my mid-20’s and rather than being fearful of aging and my impending 30’s, it’s something I’m actually looking forward to.

Regardless of age, we all want to look younger than we are and yes, this affects me in my 20’s.

Too many hours spent unprotected in the sun, one too many nights on the town and even ridiculously early wake-ups (3AM was my wakeup call for 2 years – thank you, airline industry!) can all affect your appearance.

Unbeknownst to me, my lifestyle choices were starting to age my eyes – and not in the time-to-get-glasses kind of way.

A few months ago I started to notice baby crow’s feet and fine lines appearing under my eye. I couldn’t tell if they were the beginning of laugh lines or exhaustion, but regardless, they had no place on my face.

So what did this little skin care blogger do? Well, I attempted to find the best eye cream for anti aging by reaching out and test-driving a few new products from willing manufacturers!

Introducing EyeCel

EyeCel is an anti-aging eye serum developed by the same manufacturers of Naturaful (the natural breast enhancement product, which I also tested…and loved!) and comes as part of a package with NaturaCel, which I’ll be reviewing next week. Their secret ALA-CRAV is designed to fight aging deep down to the cellular level.

The eye cream is made from all natural products like aloe vera, alpha lipoic acid, collagen and resveratrol.

It works by binding moisture at the deepest level to your skin so it remains hydrated. The more hydrated your skin, the stronger its elasticity is.

The ALA-CRAV formula helps reduce damage caused by overexposure to the sun. Dark spots are lightened, fine lines are diminished and wrinkles are ironed out to give you a brighter, more youthful appearance.

And of course, this wouldn’t be an anti-aging product if it didn’t help stimulate collagen production; which it does!

My EyeCel Experience

Now, getting down to the nitty, gritty, let’s talk about my experience with it.

I applied EyeCel once daily for the past month and continue to do so. I chose to apply it before bedtime so I was less likely to rub my eyes and wipe it off.

Within the first week, I started to notice my skin become brighter, but there wasn’t much change to my baby crow’s feet. This held true for the next week.

Going into my third week and onwards, I have noticed a consistent change in the appearance of my eye area. The fine lines I had under my eyes began filling in, the crow’s feet have disappeared and my entire eye area continues to lighten and brighten.

Don’t be shocked by how tiny the jar is. I barely dip my finger in it because you don’t need that much cream to cover your area. It smooths on nicely and leaves your skin feeling uber soft. Like I said, I’ve been using it for just over a month now and there’s at least half the jar remaining.

The website suggests using this product twice daily, but in the morning I apply Borba HD-Illuminating Eye Specialist because it gives my eyes an extra boost of shimmer. Had I used it twice daily my results may have come sooner, but regardless it works; and works well!

Is it the best eye cream for anti aging though? In my opinion: hell yeah!

While it’s not an overall anti-aging cream, like the powerhouse LifeCell, EyeCel is one of the best eye creams I’ve seen for solving the problem with crows feet. As far as reducing dark circles and puffiness goes you might be better off reading about Elite Serum, which does have a better track record on treating these types of problems.

Also, this cream is part of an anti-aging duo that is to be combined with NaturaCel so be sure to stay tuned for that review next week!
