Confession: I have horrible dark circles below my eyes. That’s why I’m a sucker when it comes to trying out new products that claim to solve this and other issues around the eyes.
So much so that I have probably tried every…single…product on the market and yet Elite Serum is the only one I would ever recommend to people with the same problems as me.
Here’s my official Elite Serum review.
Time For a Breakdown
- Deep wrinkles and fine lines.
- Dark circles.
The technology these days is all basically the same when it comes to resolving these 3 issues, however Elite Serum has one extra weapon at its disposal that the others don’t and that is of course its botox-like properties through the incorporation of the ingredient Argireline®.
Argireline® (brand name for Acetyl Hexapeptide-3) is interesting in that so far studies show its immediate effect on muscles, forcing them to contract in a way almost identical to that of any Botulinum (botox) injection. The only difference being the time taken to see a full contraction.
The process is very simple in that when Argireline® is absorbed into the dermis (deepest layer of skin), it immediately starts to prevent the normal process associated with the relaxing of muscles, instead forcing them to stay active and contracted, flattening out wrinkles in the process.
If you look below, you can see a diagram which shows how this form of treatment works to remove the visible signs of fine lines and wrinkles. Just substitute Botox for Argireline® -
The other ingredients used in Elite Serum are similar to that of the majority of eye solutions and they are:
We’ve already mentioned a number of eye creams that use this ingredient for the sole purpose of reducing puffiness and dark circles below the eyes.
It’s one of the best ways of draining all the excess fluid that builds up to cause the look of puffy eyes. It also has the ability to help to remove the toxins that cause breakages in the tiny capillaries that leak blood and appear as dark fluid, usually below the eyes, ie. dark circles.
This ingredient helps to strengthen capillaries and reduce the chances of breakages occurring, which ultimately leads to dark circles and puffiness.
Again most eye serums use this ingredient for its wrinkle reducing properties. It works by tricking your body into producing more collagen, an essential compound necessary in the production of new skin cells.
There are a lot of other ingredients used in Elite Serum including a bunch of natural moisturizing agents, which help to counteract the drying properties of most of the above compounds.
Why It’s HOT!
The thing that struck us the most by this serum was that it pretty much contains EVERY ingredient ever used in an eye solution. We really like how they incorporated in the use of the botox-like ingredient Argireline®, something which no other product on the market is currently doing.
Another reason why Elite Serum gets our tick of approval is because it’s one of the only products to include mosturizing agents in their remedy to help restore moisture to the areas dried out by the anti-wrinkle/anti-dark circle ingredients.
The overwhelming majority of creams on the market today put no emphasis on retaining moisture, which is a key attribute of healthy looking skin.
The final reason why we decided to pick it as our number one eye product in 2013 is because of the results we’re seeing come out of the public. There aren’t a lot of people who have tried it and seen poor results, which in the end is the MOST important factor for us to label it as the best eye cream for this year.
Why It’s NOT!
The only issue we have with this eye serum is the price at $89.95. It’s one of the more expensive treatments available, but the results are unbelievable when compared to the majority of creams, so if you can afford it, you definitely won’t regret spending the money.
The other option you have is to purchase the replenishment program, which costs $59.95. The thing you have to remember is that you will continue to receive a new supply every 45 days at the same rate of $59.95.
It’s totally up to you, but we would personally go for the second option as you can cancel any time.
Ladies we’re happy to say we’ve found you a good solution to your under eye problems. Of course we don’t like to be too pushy with a product, but if you were to give Elite Serum a go, there is a high chance of success then when compared to most other products on the market.
The price is a little high, but usually there’s a reason for that and in the case of this solution, it’s probably because of the results they’re seeing come out of the general public.
When a product is doing what it’s supposed to, they usually increase the price because people will pay for it. It sucks but that’s just the way it is.
Whenever someone asks for advice on what to do with their under eye issues, we literally tell them to start by giving this product a go. If it doesn’t work we’d really like to know, as so far everyone we know who has tried it, has been happy with their results.
Overall Score: 96%
