It just dawned on me that after years of going on and on about the importance of starting off your morning with warm lemon water, I’ve never written about it.
So, to rectify that issue I’m finally putting fingers to keyboard.
First of all I want to share with you why I started drinking lemon water in the morning to begin with. I was going through a particularly rough patch with my skin. It was blotchy, dull, and kept getting spots in the weirdest places. After tracking my food and water consumption for a few days it became clear that A – I wasn’t drinking enough water and B – my choice in foods may have been partly to blame.
Combined together these two factors were leaving me looking, well, bleckkkk.
I had grazed through an article spouting out the benefits of drinking lemon water so I decided to give it a go. Each morning I would boil the kettle and squeeze half a fresh lemon into it once it had cooled off a bit. After just 3 days I felt a noticeable difference in my stomach and my skin started to brighten up. Happy with the results I kept doing it and the rest is history.
