Does Meladerm Work? You May Be Surprised!

Does Meladerm Work?Have you got dark spots on your skin? Perhaps your tone is uneven and littered with hyperpigmentation. You know what, maybe you just want lighter, brighter skin.

Skin lightening has been practiced for decades. There’s just something about a flawless, fair face that allures so many. Being fairly freckled myself, I can see the appeal somedays. It’s that “grass is always greener on the other side” syndrome.

People have used home remedies to bleach their skin, but more recently, products have surfaced that are taking the skin lightening market by storm. One such product is Meladerm.

But does Meladerm work? Let’s find out…

What is Meladerm?

Created by Civant Skin Care, Meladerm is a powerful skin lightening cream that is used to help reduce dark spots, scars and skin discoloration in as little as 2 weeks time.

This thoroughly tested product (they spent 4 years testing it for safety!) contains 17 age defying, paraben-free key ingredients, but I’m going to focus on their top 3 in order to properly demonstrate its potency.

Does Meladerm Work? Check the Ingredients

As I just mentioned, what makes Meladerm so unique are its ingredients—that are not only safe for the skin but obliterate hyperpigmentation. So what are these ingredients? I’ve listed the 3 that really set this product apart.

Alpha Arbutin is a water soluble ingredient that works on all skin types. Basically it inhibits skin discoloration and promotes faster and more efficient skin whitening. Though costly to manufacture, a little goes a long way.

Tego Cosmo C is an amino acid derivative that helps even out your skin tone, similar to Alpha Arbutin. It also helps maintain a balanced pH for healthier looking skin.

Gigawhite is Meladerm’s alternative to hydroquinone. It is derived from plants and significantly diminishes your dark spots in both size and color.

In combination with regular exfoliation and daily use of Meladerm, you will notice lighther and brighter looking skin in as little as 2 weeks!

Yes, seriously. 2 weeks.

How Do I Use Meladerm?

Meladerm is easy to use. Every morning and evening apply a good amount of the product to your face and neck. Let is soak in for at least 10 minutes before applying your makeup and sunblock.

Because Meladerm is a skin lightening product, your skin will be extra sensitive to the sun. Be sure to slather on a broad spectrum SPF every day and be sun smart.

Tanning beds and direct sun exposure should be nixed. Kind of defeats the purpose of skin lightening anyhow, wouldn’t you agree?

Meladerm Reviews: What Consumers Are Saying

As mentioned on the official website, it’s important to note that Meladerm is not a whitening product.

It is specifically designed to diminish dark spots and lighten the skin so it glows and looks brighter.

A lot of people buy it thinking it will whiten their complexion so their opinion of the product is low. However, if you are purchasing it for the right reasons, you should expect results like this customer, Cat:

“Hello everyone, finally I received my order yesterday and will update everyone once I use it for a couple weeks! Well, I started using the 5 piece kits last night and I actually see my skin a bit lighter already this morning :-) I was really impressed!! Anyway, lets see if my face and the brown spots (which I was really concerned about) will be lighter or not in a couple of weeks! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!!   –  catgod15677, Amazon.com

She checked in 4 months later with this update…

Just an update…..I am happy to let everyone knows that the skin care works well on me!! My mom told me that my face is much better now then before, the tone is evened out and the brown spots have already lightened quite a bit. Beside using the Meladerm, I also used the SPF30 sunblock in the day time as well…”  – catgod15677, Amazon.com

And she is just one of the many customers leaving their own Meladerm reviews and raving about this product.

Of course there are others who bought it to whiten their skin who weren’t too thrilled with the product, but if you order it to solely lighten your dark spots and hyperpigmentation and not whiten your overall skin then you shouldn’t have any problems.
