Life can be tough for your skin. Whether it’s the blistering summer sun or the drying effects of central heating during the winter months, if you want to look your best at all times (and who doesn’t?) then a proper skin care regime is essential. [Keep Reading]

Do you want glowing, vibrant and younger-looking skin?
Instead of spending thousands on skin care products, include some healthy foods in your diet. The healthier the foods you consume, the better your skin will look.
Lack of skin-friendly nutrition can make the skin dry and pale. Certain foods contain powerful nutrients that keep the skin smooth and supple. Here are some amazing foods that we can choose to make our skin beautiful and glowing. [Keep Reading]
Have you ever noticed little red bumps on the backs of your upper arms?
These annoying marks stand out like sore thumb and drive me bananas. It’s not like they itch or anything, but they look terrible and when the rest of my skin is so clear, I can’t for the life of myself understand why my arms wouldn’t be too.
That being said, I decided to do something about it.
At first, I thought I might be having an allergic reaction to my body wash, but it seems to be more than that. And let’s be real for a moment, I’ve had these red bumps for years, and no new body wash has made them disappear.
So what are these red marks? Let’s discuss… [Keep Reading]

Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, all you have to do is look after that skin.
Skin is your largest vital organ; yup your largest. It’s visible to the eye and noticed by the nose if not clean. The radiant appearance of healthy skin is something people notice and remember all year round.
Your biggest mistake is to just have a routine for your skin during Spring or Summer when you are hitting the beach and making the most out of the warm weather. There are things you should be doing to take care of your skin in any season. [Keep Reading]
I have a confession to make. I have an addiction.
No, this addiction isn’t to the usual subjects such as drugs or alcohol.
I am addicted to juicing.
If you are an avid juicer then you probably understand where I’m coming from. The health benefits of juicing alone, would make you want to do it. What really sucked me in though? Juicing for healthy skin! [Keep Reading]

What do sex, honey and aspirin all have in common (besides being the makings of a wild Saturday night)?
They’re all great for your skin and you can harness their powers with easy DIY methods. [Keep Reading]
Did you know that home remedies for dry skin don’t necessarily have to be complex DIY concoctions? Sometimes a simple change in your regular routine is all the home remedy you need.
As I slowly immerse myself back into the cold Canadian climate, I can’t help but fear for my skin. The humid Thai weather was just so damn good to me. I never felt dry, itchy or like my skin was malnourished. Being back in my native climate, is a whole new undertaking though.
There’s just something so taxing about cold, dry winter weather. In an effort to avoid flaky skin, I will be doing the following…and I suggest you do the same! [Keep Reading]
Who here loves Halloween?
I do! I do! V? Does not!
There’s a few reasons why I love this frightful holiday. One, it is the day after my birthday which means I’ve just been spoiled and therefore in a very good mood.
Two, dressing up as an adult is hella better than doing it as a child because your parents can’t force you to wear that puff winter jacket that turns your adorable princess costume into a fat princess disaster. Seriously, have you ever seen a fat Disney princess? No? I didn’t think so! [Keep Reading]
I’m just gonna throw this out there: If I don’t have to spend big money to get my skin lookin’ flawless, I’m not going to spend big money!
After all, there’s nothing better than knowing you are looking fine as hell and you did nothing other than raid a bunch of ingredients you already had lying around the house.
So what’s cranberry juice, potatoes, olive oil, and paper have in common? [Keep Reading]

Sunburned? Not again!
Sunburns happen all the time, usually expectantly. You’re just trying to embrace the summer by lying around on the beach, getting your swim on or socializing at a BBQ, but the next day disaster strikes in the form of peeling, painful, red skin.
It’s uncomfortable, but it only lasts for a bit, right?
