Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals: High Def or Pathetic Plasma?

A review on Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals scrub

Dry skin cells can get stuck in your pores, clog them and lead to icky acne breakouts and other skin issues. This is why V and I keep telling you how important it is to exfoliate.

Clearing your outermost layer of skin ultimately allows your moisturizer to be more effective and your freshest skin to be exposed.

Some people get scared at the idea of exfoliation because they think of it as an abrasive exercise; one that rubs the skin raw and leaves you red and irritated. Though this isn’t the case at all, there are even gentler alternatives, such as an at-home microdermabrasion treatment.

We love sharing DIY microdermabrasion tips and tricks with you, but there are also a lot of products on the market. One of these products is Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals.

The Branded Benefits of Borba

The Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals are a two-step facial treatment that comes with a Cellular Rejuvenation Treatment and a Pore Perfecting Thermal Serum.

Step one is the cellular rejuvenation that uses a microdiamond and rice hull formula that gently detoxifies pores and exfoliates.your surface skin cells.

Massage onto your dry skin for 1 minute using circular motions to boost microcirculation. Microcirculation stimulates your smallest blood vessels so you’ll get better rejuvenation results.

Step two is the pore perfecting thermal serum. You probably already guessed that there is a little heating action with this step.

Using a combination of lactic acid and pure silver, this serum works to boost the appearance of your skin by refining the tone and texture.

Let’s Review This Sh*t!

I have personally used this product several times over an extended period of time and I don’t want to say I’m an expert consumer consultant, but yea, I pretty much am. If you’re thinking of trying it, have questions or concerns I am your go-to girl, ok?A quick review on Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals

But let’s get to the good stuff.

The first treatment is a grainy microdiamond and rice hull formula that you put on your dry skin.

Though Borba has had this “Sensitive Skin Tested” I found it to be a little too abrasive for my sensitive skin.

Going against the instructions I splashed a little water on my face and found it to be much less rough on my skin.

You can definitely feel the diamonds clearing up your outer layer of skin and once it’s all said and done you’ll shimmer more than Edward Cullen in the sunlight – just a little Twilight reference for my fellow Twi-Hards out there!

Step two involves applying the thermal serum over top of your diamond covered face. The heat is not overwhelming by any means, but you will definitely feel it.

It’s a nice warm sensation that passes quickly. If it doesn’t, I would suggest rinsing it off immediately.

After the suggested 1 minute application process is complete and you’ve rinsed it all off you will see instant results; I did!

My pores looked smaller, my skin was brighter and it felt smoother than a baby’s bottom. Any time my skin was looking a little lack-lustre I would bust out my Borba and give my face a little TLC.

I have used several Borba products in my day and though I kind of liked some of them, I didn’t love any. The Borba HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals, I love though!

It’s adequately priced unlike many of their other products and you can instantly see results. This facial system has held a permanent place in my beauty cupboard since first trying it in 2008.

So go on, give it a go and if any of you skeptics out there have any Q’s you want A’d, just hit me up in the comment section below.
