With so many products and so few days, how on earth is a blogger to try them all out? All I can say is thank goodness for large families.
To date I have used all three of my sisters and my mother to test out a plethora of beauty and skin care products. From acne treatments and wrinkle creams to anti-aging devices, we’ve tried and tested them all.
When we were approached by a Bell Lifestyle Products rep to test out some of their Bell Master Herbalist supplements, I was physically unable to say no. Getting free stuff is just too fun!
I took a scan through their site to check out all their products and one of the caught my eye; #60 Bell Skin Disorders. The description mentioned treatment of acne, eczema and psoriasis. You don’t often see products claiming to treat psoriasis and it got me all jazzed up.
For 10+ years, my mama has suffered through wicked bouts of psoriasis. When it first appeared it destroyed the appearance of her knees and shoulders. As the years have passed it is less noticeable on those areas, but her hands and scalp have become inflamed.
If you aren’t sure what psoriasis is, you can read more about it in my DIY post on 5 home remedies for psoriasis.
Basically it is a skin condition that inflames your skin and leaves you with an itch that simply can’t be scratched. It has officially been deemed incurable, which is why I was so curious to try out the Bell Master Herbalist supplement and see how it performed.
A Little 411 on Bell Lifestyle Products
Bell Lifestyle Products began in 1996 by Nick Jerch with the goal of improving people’s quality of life.
They have a series of supplements that range from skin disorders, disease and virus to sexual health, pain control and a whole whack load of other categories. In fact, there are over 50 natural health products available under the Bell name
My Mama’s Bell Master Herbalist Supplement Review
As I said, I decided to try out the #60 Bell Skin Disorders supplement. Made from a group of extracts like Oregon grape root, sarsaparilla, juniper, bittersweet and neem, it claims to clear up your skin by purifying your blood.
No offense to Jerch himself, but the ingredient list didn’t exactly instill confidence in me. I was certain this product was going to be an epic let down.
Boy was I wrong.
Turns out this extract-filled gel capsule was quite the powerhouse. Taking 2 pills, 3 times daily over the course of one month, I witnessed my mom’s psoriasis-ridden palms clear right up; and not just a little.
We’re talking a significant difference here. Her hands went from super flaky, raw and red to nearly normal.
Wondering if you have to do anything else to supplement the effects of this pill?
My mom didn’t change her diet or routine at all. She didn’t employ one of the home remedies for psoriasis I suggested to her and still experienced great results.
The proof is in the pictures!
Would she recommend it? She sure as sin would!
For a mere $29 (give or take) for one month’s supply, the Bell Master Herbalist pills won’t be breaking the bank. Though this product is touted for clearing up acne and eczema as well, it certainly works for psoriasis.
So go on, hit up the Bell Lifestyle Products website to give it a try! You won’t regret it.
