Is it just me or is it the older I get the more I notice little signs of cellulite growing?
Surely it isn’t just me!
Now, it turns out there is a rather simple (yet incredibly effective) technique you can do from home that will help iron out your dimples.
As you know, cellulite is caused from fat that build ups deep down in your inner most layering of. As your connective tissue fibres push down on it, this restricts the flow of blood causing your fat cells to become engorged and that is when we really start to notice it.
If you are anything like me then you will go to just about any length to avoid this ugly dimpling of the skin. After all, no one looks good with a cottage cheese-like ass in a bikini.
Why You Should Try Massaging
Giving yourself an anti cellulite massage daily could be one of the best (and cheapest) methods of diminishing derriere dimples. In fact, there are not one, but three main reasons why giving yourself a little rubdown can be beneficial for your skin.
- When you use firm pressure during your massage it works to actively break down fat deposits that are causing you cellulite
- The better circulation you have, the less likely you are to experience cellulite. Massaging is a great way to stimulate blood flow, pump up your circulation and reduce your body’s ability to stock pile fat deposits
- We try and be as healthy as possible, but there is always going to be a certain number of toxins that need to be filtered out of your body. Your lymphatic system manages this waste-control and giving yourself a good massage can help repair and rejuvenate that system so not only will your lymphatic work better, but your skin will look better too
The Perfect Anti Cellulite Massage Technique
Now you know why you should be using an anti cellulite massage, but how the heck do you do it? Darlin’, listen in because I’ve got 4 simple steps for you to follow and my sweet buns swear by them!
Step 1: Lube Up
The best way to really knead into your skin without giving yourself a burn is by lubing up. I love using a natural oil like Coconut oil or my very own homemade anti cellulite cream. All you have to do is rub some into your cellulite zones and remember, a little goes a long way.
It’s up to you, but I would avoid using normal moisturizers because they absorb too quickly and you don’t want to chafe yourself.
Step 2: Focus on cellulite that’s furthest from your heart first
Using small circular motions, apply pressure and massage your skin up towards your heart. This may sound like a ridiculous notion, but there’s a good reason; it helps promote better circulation.
Massage each trouble zone for 3-5 minutes before moving on to the next.
Step 3: Give yourself a little squeeze
Squeezing your skin can help uncover hidden cellulite zones. Areas like your inner thighs and just above your knee are often secret cellulite loading zones. Give these areas a little loving too and avoid the potential of them turning into full blown dimpled zones.
Step 4: Time for a gentle pat down
If you’ve ever had a professional massage then you likely remember them ending it off with a very gentle patting down of your skin. By gently running your hands down your freshly massaged skin, you are stimulating the blood to flow at the surface and help get those lymph nodes working.
Simple, right! Now if you’re in the market for an even more potent solution to cellulite then you will definitely want to read my Finulite review. This product is seriously the bees knees.
