If we were to ask you what you thought was the best thing to come out of Bulgaria, what would you say?
Well after a serious skin study session, we ended up finding ourselves a line of organic skin care that unlike that of Pai Skincare, has focused just on using rose oil from the world famous Bulgarian rose valley.
What’s the brand you ask?
Alteya Organics and ladies we’re going to get you all the info you need on this line including the pro’s and con’s, plus what others are saying about it so that you can decide for yourself whether you’d like to make the switch.
Let’s get this badass Alteya Organics review underway!
Just like most other lines of organics, Alteya is certified by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) meaning that they had to pass strict regulations requiring their products to be free from synthetically produced toxins and other cosmetic material.
This is the major benefit of switching over to organic skin care as studies are starting to show certain long term health problems relating to several chemicals commonly used in make up and skin care.
Now if you’re a big fan of rose oil then we gotta say, this line may be the one for you.
This company has been around since 2009 and owns one of the the largest rose crops in the world, employing over 400 people.
We love this because poverty and unemployment in Bulgaria is a real problem so it’s nice to see your money going directly to those who would normally be struggling to make ends meet.
They offer a number of different products, in three separate areas:
Their most popular body treatment is their rose oil infused body lotion. For the face they have pretty much everything, with the most popular product being their Anti-Aging Rose Face Cream.
Although they do offer all the regular types of skin care, there is one product however that most people seem to be interested in and that is their Organic Rose Water, best used directly after a shower.
All you need to do is take a quick look at the reviews on Amazon to see just how popular their rose water is with 15 out of 19 people giving it a 5 out of 5 star rating.
Trust us, that’s huge.
The great thing about rose water is that it has so many applications including:
- Anti wrinkle
- Hair care
- Under eye benefits
- Heck you can even cook with it!

Why It’s HOT!
There’s a few reasons why Alteya Organics would make a great choice. The first one is that their products are decently priced, with the most expensive one being their anti-aging cream at $49.
When you compare that to say a LifeCell, which costs almost $200, you can see why some people might be more inclined to go down the organic route instead.
Secondly, rose oil is great, full stop. If you have ever tried a product that uses it, you’ll know what we mean when we say that it is ridiculously soothing once you put it on.
This means that it’s amazing for those with sensitive skin and who prefer a much lighter form of treatment.
Why It’s NOT!
There are a couple of bad points worth mentioning about this organic line.
The first is that although rose oil when applied offers a nice soothing sensation, it’s not the most powerful of skin treatments as far as being able to significantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
If you have severe skin issues, don’t expect to see a huge effect, but instead what you can expect is more so a soothing sensation and a little added moisture.
Their line is great for those who prefer the lighter touch, but if you are looking to clear major line and wrinkles, don’t expect too much from them.
Look we here in BES land are huge proponents of organic anything and Alteya have done a great job at keeping their products completely natural and free from cosmetics and other toxins.
But as far as results go, they have kinda limited themselves by sticking to using ONLY rose oil as their primary ingredient.
Still a nice set of products and their rose water would certainly make a good addition to any girls arsenal of beauty products.
